Bio: Thomas Bankstahl, DVM

Dr. Bankstahl

After graduating from Michigan State University in 1994, he completed a one year exotic practice internship with Dr Scott Stahl. He continues to have a keen interest in all exotic species as well as maintaining a love for his dog and cat patients. He strives to stay on the cutting edge of exotic animal medicine and is the director of clinical and surgical medicine at this facility. He also enjoys interacting with his clients as much as his patients. He belongs to many professional organizations, attends multiple continuing education conferences, and enjoys lecturing. His other interests include reproductive medicine which enfolds his breeding and showing of whippets and sphynx cats. This is balanced by a keen interest in assisting and endorsing multiple rescue groups. Additional interests include herbal and alternative treatment modalities.
