July was another big birthday month at Parkway!  The following team members celebrated their fabulous day of birth:  Dena, Sheri, Sam, Kaelyn and Erin!  Happy Birthday ladies! 

Happy Birthday to Bert, P.J. and Dana!  They will be celebrating their birthdays on June 12th!

Parkway has several staff birthday's coming up in December! Beginning with Dr. Bankstahl and LeAnn on December 1st, then Dr. Golombek on the 6th, Ashley on the 7th, Kristin S. on the 17th and Kristin U. on the 21st!

October 12th thru the 18th is National Veterinary Technician Week! We would like to thank all of our technicians for all of the wonderful things that they do for us week in and week out!

Thank you Sheri, PJ, Sam, Kristin, Stephanie, Andrea, Crinthia, Sarah, Kristin S., Sandra and Jennifer! 

Dr. Periat participated in the Bank of America Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo 5k race on Sunday, September 7th. This was Dr. Periat's debut 5k and Parkway is very proud of her participation in this event as it helps raise funds that are then put towards helping improve the health of the Detroit Zoo animals!

What is fawn and black, 3 years of age and loves to give kisses? Well, it’s “Smooch” of course! Smooch is the beloved Pug of our veterinary assistant Stephanie. Named after her steadfast desire to give kisses, Smooch was selected to be a part of Stephanie’s family because she was so ugly she was irresistibly cute.

Parkway will be missing one of it's key team members as Nedim leaves our staff as of September 1st to pursue full-time his veterinary degree.  We will be missing Nedim on staff, but wish him the best of luck in achieving his goals! 

In addition, Parkway would like to welcome the following new team members to our staff! We have Erin joining us in reception, Jennifer Essex will be joining our technical staff and Irene Singer, Sarah Carden and Amanda Molicky will be joining our kennel staff!

Kevin and Rachel will be leaving us this month to return to classes! We wish them the best of luck and hope to see them back on our staff during their holiday breaks!

Parkway would like to welcome Ashley and Denise to our front staff!  Ashley has over three years of experience working in a veterinary hospital and Denise comes to our staff with almost ten years experience working in the medical field!

 In addition, we have a new kennel assistant, Rachel, that will be with us throughout the summer!  Rachel is an aspiring veterinarian and we look forward to having her as part of our staff when she is on holiday from school!

Parkway would like to welcome Intern Student, "Crystal Jaddach" to our staff from MCC's Veterinary Technician program. Crystal will be working on staff at Parkway from May until June completing the required 200 hours of onsite hands-on technical experience! Please say "Hi!" to Ms. Crystal the next time you stop in!
