Karen has wanted to get involved with veterinary medicine from a young age due to the fact that she always had pets in the house growing up! Karen pursued a pathway to MSU in 1997 to investigate their veterinary program, however things did not pan out exactly the way she had hoped. In 2010, Karen decided to take the Veterinary Technician program at Baker College to continue her interest in the Veterinary Field. It was in 2013, that one of Karen's classmates shared her resume with the Parkway team and the rest is history! At home, Karen has three feline companions: (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Rogue and Fallon Grey (all whom all named after Star Wars characters!).
